Parent's perspective on the tournament

What happens in Vegas…

Tournaments are the best way for the team to bond, specifically off-ice. The time between and after the games is one of the best parts of any tournament for our players. The time they get to spend with one another off the ice is often what they remember most about the tournament. This is what team bonding is all about. Our hotel has a pool, outdoor game area, a bowling alley, an arcade, and a movie theater.

As a parent be sure your youth athlete will have plenty of nutrition, entertainment and memorable experiences. We stay at the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, our hotel is located across the street from the City National Area. It is a two-minute walk to the rink from our hotel. The hotel has several restaurants and a food court. In addition, there are several restaurants within walking distance from the hotel as well as a restaurant inside City National Arena.

We prefer each player who is participating in the tournament has a parent with him/her. If your player is 18 years of age, he/she can travel to the tournament without you, yet we prefer to have a parent at the tournament. With parental permission, a player may attend the tournament with another family from the team.
